Here’s how it works…

Save content for later

I spotted something on HistoryExtra do you want to meet later? Our new “save” feature allows you to bookmark any content that piques your interest in one place. Maybe you’re browsing our website on your commute and see an article you’d like to read but don’t have time – the save feature will make it easy to find it later.

To start using My storyExtrayou will need to login or subscribe via the links at the top right of the page.

To save a content item to My storyExtrajust tap the “save” icon on an article…

You can then find it in your MyHistoryExtra center.

Create your own collections

Want to organize your favorite content into your own personalized library? Save your favorite articles, podcast episodes and recipes in a collection – a folder you can come back to later.

To save an item in a collection, click on “save”, then click on the three small dots that appear.

Click on these dots and you can add the item to an existing collection or create a new one.

You may want to organize your collection by theme – perhaps you are a medieval history buff with a particular interest in battles. Or maybe you prefer to save by content type, whether it’s history quizzes, recipes, or videos.

Another option is to organize your preferred content period or date. But at the end of the day, it’s your own personalized space and you can do whatever you want. From ‘articles about Roman Britain’ to ‘My Favorite Medieval Queens’, the possibilities are endless.

Hub MyHistoryExtra

You can view all your saved content and collections in the My storyExtra hub at the top right of the page.

Any content you’ve saved will appear under ‘Saved Articles’.

All the collections you have created will be visible under “My collections”.

You can also create new collections here. To rename or delete a collection, click on a collection and click the pencil icon at the top right of the collection itself.

We really hope you enjoy using this new feature on HistoryExtra.
