On Friday, a Vogue spokesperson confirmed to Page Six that the media house or its editor, Anna Wintour, may soon cut ties with Kanye West. It’s because of the rapper’s anti-Semitic comments and support for the White Lives Matter objective.
Wintour and Kanye have a long-standing business relationship. Their friendship began in 2009 when she invited him to the Met Gala. She then featured the fashion mogul and his SKIMS founding ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, on the magazine’s cover in 2014.

It’s getting too controversial around the rapper, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be backing down anytime soon. After Wintour sent his longtime close friend Baz Luhrmann to film the reconciliation between Kanye West and the publisher, sources said Page 6 that Vogue cut ties with him internally.
The fashion queen’s decision came in the wake of 45-year-old hitman Donda’s jaw-dropping threats against the Jewish people. The situation escalated after he refused to apologize, but instead took the opportunity to double-cross them.
The insider made it clear that Anna Wintour had had enough, and Vogue internally cut ties with Kanye West. According to source:
“She made it very clear in Vogue that Kanye was no longer part of the inner circle.”
People haven’t yet figured out what it really means for the rapper to no longer be part of the inner circle. It’s unclear if this means Vogue’s website won’t feature her images or if her access to the Met Gala will be revoked.
