New Delhi: After embracing motherhood, global star Priyanka Chopra appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar (Saudi) magazine for the first time.
For the cover of the magazine, she posed in different outfits and looked better than ever. Her behind-the-scenes photos and videos were shared by fan pages and went viral on social media.
For the uninitiated, Priyanka and her singer husband Nick Jonas surprised their fans with some big news by stating that the duo had become proud parents via surrogacy. They announced the happy news in a joint statement posted on their social media accounts in January.
Although Nick and Priyanka have yet to officially reveal the gender of the baby.
While speaking to Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Priyanka expressed her gratitude for having such a supportive family and also shared her perspective on how the pandemic has changed her. She also talked about exposing her vulnerabilities in her memoir, Unfinished, which was released last year.
“Seeing the devastation this pandemic has created in the world, I think peace is of the utmost importance right now. And I know that in my life it has become my quest,” Priyanka said. I’m looking for people who give love, I’m looking for people who are peaceful. I’m going to surround myself with joy and light. And, you know, I think I’m starting to look this now. And as a human being, it’s changed me like I’m sure it’s changed most of us. I don’t know if I can still do this chaotic beat and this chaotic world. I want to prioritize what is important,” she added.
The two posted a similar message saying, “We are delighted to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully request privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you very much.”
After the announcement, Jonas and the Chopras receive congratulatory messages from friends in the industry and family members.
Priyanka Chopra and international singer Nick Jonas got married in December 2018 at the picturesque Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The gala was attended by their families and close friends.
