Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, last month, became parents to their first child through surrogacy. Taking to their respective Instagram accounts, the couple shared the news. “We are delighted to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully request confidentiality during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you very much,” the statement read.
In a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Priyanka said: “Seeing the havoc this pandemic has created around the world, I think peace is of the utmost importance right now. And I know that in my life, it has become my quest. That’s all I’m looking for. I’m looking for people who give love, I’m looking for people who are peaceful. I will surround myself with joy and light. And, you know, I think I’m starting to look for that now. And as a human being, it changed me like I’m sure it changed most of us. I don’t know if I can still do this chaotic rhythm and this chaotic world. I want to prioritize what is important.
Talking about her mother Madhu and her husband Nick, she added, “I feel more loved when I look at my mother, every time I do something, my mother just has this face, which looks like the face of ‘proud mom “. Sometimes I also see it with my team, when I have a conversation and they have that face. Even my husband, it’s just a silent thing. They have nothing to say, it’s the look, the face, and so I must say that I have felt very loved all my life.
