The Texas native opened the forward copy to show a message from the former actress. “Dear Gray, parent to parent – all my love from my family to yours,” the Los Angeles native, 36, wrote in the handwritten note. “As always, Meghan.” The page that the Agree or disagree alum wrote on an illustration of her husband, 39, and their toddler holding hands.
News broke last month that Meghan’s first book, illustrated by christian robinsonhits shelves Tuesday, June 8. “The bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father’s Day, the month after Archie was born,” she wrote in the May press release. “This poem became this story. Christian has layered beautiful and ethereal watercolor illustrations that capture the warmth, joy and comfort of the relationship between fathers and sons from all walks of life. This representation was particularly important to me, and Christian and I worked closely to portray this special bond through an inclusive lens.
Meghan added that she hopes the book will “resonate with every topic, no matter the makeup, as much as her own.”

In addition to the release of her book, Meghan is expecting another major arrival this summer: her baby girl! She announced her pregnancy news in February, revealing her due date the following month in a CBS reveal with Harry.
“Just to have a boy and a girl, what more could you ask for?” exclaimed the former military pilot during the March interview. “We have our family. We are, you know, the four of us and our two dogs, and that’s great.
