Ivana Trump’s funeral showed a copy of her 1992 Vanity Fair cover which appeared to edit a headline about Hillary Clinton.
Funeral services gathered at St. Vincent Ferrer Roman Catholic Church on Manhattan’s Upper East Side on Wednesday to mourn the first wife of former President Donald Trump.
Ivana Trump, 73, was found dead at the foot of the stairs in her home last week, authorities said. The New York medical examiner ruled her death an accident.
Photos published by the New York Post and People showed two of his magazine covers displayed near the altar during the funeral, including his May 1992 cover of Vanity Fair.
The original cover features her sitting on a yellow sofa next to the title “Ivana Be a Star!”
Clinton’s name also appeared on the cover, along with the caption “Will she go to the White House with Bill or without him?” (The issue arose during Bill Clinton’s 1992 presidential campaign.)
But Post and People photos appeared to show the headline about Clinton had been removed from the version displayed at the memorial.
Photos also showed that the other two titles on the cover – one about conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh and the other about Imelda Marcos, the former first lady of the Philippines – remained on the version displayed at the funeral.
It is unclear why Clinton’s name was not there. Representatives for Donald Trump, Clinton and Vanity Fair did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.

Donald Trump and Clinton were friends; the Clintons attended Trump’s wedding to his current wife, Melania Trump. But that relationship soured when the two clashed in the 2016 presidential election, as Trump shared and encouraged conspiracy theories about Clinton.
The two-hour mass for Ivana Trump on Wednesday, which was attended by the former president and the couple’s three children — Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr. — was a “big, glamorous celebration of her life,” publicist R. Run Hay. who was serving, Insider said.
Hay said the church was decorated with her favorite roses and her coffin was draped in purple cloth.
Donald and Ivana Trump’s three children delivered eulogies, Hay said. Donald Trump made no remarks, although he looked upset in photos after the funeral.
