Islamic State puts Delhi riots on magazine cover 11 days after violence, peddles propaganda

In a super exclusive, Republic Media Network exposed the massive Islamic State propaganda on Monday. With the photos of the 2022 Delhi riots on the cover of the magazine, the terrorist organization ISIS has released its 27th edition of the Spokesperson.

ISIS published the issue of the 2022 Delhi riots along with pictures of clashes in its magazine, just 11 days after the violent clash in the nation’s capital. The images show the young people throwing stones during the riots in order to spread radicalisation. According to sources Republic TV has learned, this is an attempt by ISIS to radicalize and incite Muslims and Indian youths.

Earlier, this terrorist organization also featured photos of targeted killings in Kashmir. There have been several cases and FIRs that have been filed against this magazine by agencies and over 20 people have been arrested and questioned.

Jahangirpuri Violence

On April 16, a clash erupted during a Hanuman Jayanti procession in the Jahangirpuri area, northwest of Delhi, resulting in injuries among police officers. Police said stone-throwing was observed and some vehicles were also set on fire, which witnesses said looked like a “pre-planned” attack on the occasion of the festival.

After Union Home Secretary Amit Shah’s call for ‘strict action’, the National Security Act (NSA) was slapped against the defendants and an FIR was filed at Jahangirpuri police station under sections 147, 148, 149, 186, 307, 323, 332, 353, 427 and 436 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. So far, 28 defendants have been arrested in connection with the violence in Jahangirpuri, northwest Delhi.

Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana warned of strict measures against rioters and said the situation was under control and adequate additional force had been deployed in Jahangirpuri and other sensitive areas . Senior officers were asked to stay on the ground and closely monitor the public order situation and undertake patrols. On the night of April 17, the police kept vigil in several sensitive areas. While Senior Police Officer Sanjay Sen refuted rumors of tension in parts of North East Delhi which witnessed riots in 2020. Police said there is peace and further called on people to not to believe the rumors circulating on social media about the rally clash.
