Dwayne Johnson has shared a brand new look at an adapted Black Adam for the cover of Total Film Magazine’s 2022 preview.
The DC Extended Universe is about to get a whole lot bigger. Dwayne Johnson is finally ready to make his DCEU debut as black adam later next year. Johnson has been working on the character for nearly ten years, which makes the film’s release all the sweeter. Slated to hit theaters next year, details on Black Adam are slim, though we know the anti-hero is one of the most powerful characters DC has ever produced for the big screen.
Earlier last week, Total Film Magazine and Dwayne Johnson collaborated to reveal the subscriber cover for the magazine’s upcoming 2022 preview issue. Now, the official cover that will hit newsstands has also been revealed. Johnson’s all-new DC anti-hero look gives us our best look at Black Adam’s costume.
In addition to Dwayne Johnson, the film stars Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer and Bodhi Sabongui are also on board in undisclosed roles. Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions are producing the film with Beau Flynn of FlynnPictureCo. Scott Sheldon of FlynnPictureCo serves as executive producer.
