The duo grace the cover of Sports Illustrated Kids’ BFF Issue magazine.
ORCHARD PARK, NY — Buffalo Bills fans are already familiar with the close friendship between quarterback Josh Allen and wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Now the duo are on the cover of Sports Illustrated Kids’ BFF Issue magazine.
According to the Bills, the article showcases the duo’s friendship and the value of teamwork. The magazine is available for purchase at local newsstands.
After the Bills traded for Diggs in March 2020 sending a total of four draft picks to the Minnesota Vikings, he formed a bond with Allen, finishing with 127 receptions for 1,535 yards and eight touchdowns.
This performance helped Allen finish second in NFL MVP voting.
Along the way, he became a huge hit with Bills fans in a memorable season that ended with an appearance in the AFC Championship Game. In an election year, “Allen-Diggs 2020” signs popped up on lawns across Western New York.
Zoom, a printing and graphic design company on Main Street in downtown Buffalo, has made and sold thousands of fake campaign signs.
“Every time one is sold, it promotes it. Somebody sees it. They see where they get it. They want one. They get it. Every neighborhood has it,” Josh Federice, the designer of Zoom, who came up with the idea for the parody campaign signs, told 2 On Your Side last October.
That success paid off for Allen before the start of the preseason, when he signed a six-year contract worth $258 million, keeping him at Buffalo through the 2028 season. Of that money, $150 million is guaranteed.
