The Pokemon International Company and Embedded Creatures announced the winners of the 2022 Pokémon Trading Card Game Art Contesta fan art contest that invited Trainers from the United States and Japan to illustrate upcoming Pokémon TCG cards.
The 2022 Pokémon Trading Card Game Art Contest opened for the first time to US entrants, in addition to Japan, and drew strong interest from fans in both markets, receiving 10,830 entries. Trainers were invited to capture the official contest theme of “Pokémon’s Everyday Life,” and submissions were evaluated by a panel of judges from The Pokémon Company and Creatures Inc., including official Pokémon illustrators. The grand prize winner and early winners will receive $5,000 and $3,000 in cash prizes, respectively, and their submissions will be featured in upcoming Pokémon TCG promo cards. Additionally, the runners-up and judges’ award winners will receive $1,000 and $500 in cash prizes, respectively.
